The PR-2 pocket recorder supports 24-bit and 32-bit float recording formats, which means that you can always achieve perfect gain staging. This feature is especially handy if you're recording in a live setting where you don't have the luxury of being able to monitor your levels constantly.

The PR-2 Pocket Recorder can wirelessly sync timecode from the Deity TC-1 timecode generator boxes, which is a great feature for easily adding timecode metadata to your WAV files. This will allow your audio to be synced up in post to your video footage more efficiently and significantly quicker, saving you time and money. Additionally, the PR-2 is remote-controlled via the Sidus Audio™ app, which allows for every setting to be adjusted from up to 250 ft away. This feature is especially useful if you need to make changes to your recording setup quickly from a long distance.

The Deity PR-2 Pocket Recorder also features Deity’s signature triple-tap locking method to prevent accidental stopping of recording when in someone's pocket.

The headphone output allows for monitoring and checking the lavalier sound quality before recording. It can also output timecode, turning the PR-2 into a timecode box. This allows you to jam a camera, unplug it, plug in your lavalier, and record an interview quickly, all in sync.

The device runs on 2 AA batteries for nearly 30 hrs of battery life.
